According to my resident tonight , “I knew you could drive in the states but driving in Switzerland is different. You are a great driver. This must not be easy driving here AND you know the way around Switzerland!” P.S. We went to the Black Diamond Bakery but HEY I have always wanted to go to Switzerland. A couple days ago this same resident saw me holding a baby and said, “Do your parents know you have a baby? You’re not married. Do I need to call them?” I love my job! No matter how much dementia affects these amazing people, they still have so much love, and compassion, and extreme amounts of care for the people around them.
